The end of Semester 1 LLB

Alhamdulillah, final exam for semester 1 of Bachelor of Law (LLB) has officially ended. Yeah it may sounds like i am free to go on holidays but in fact we still have one more task to do. Criminal Trial & Advocacy (CTA), in which we need to have a mock trial and this semester i have to be a Prosecutor for rape case. When i read the past judgment, it is not easy to prove that someone is guilty for rape because the burden of proof on behalf of the Prosecutor is very high. We need to prove beyond reasonable doubts that the accused is guilty for rape. So the trial is next week and we need to do the best for our trial. Wish me luck!! So, what are my planning for this semester break? I dont really have lots of planning but yeah maybe there will be some conferences to attend, meeting with friends and most importantly i really want to spend my time on reading. Last two days i went to MPH Bookstores and i just can't control my urge to buy books. Luckily i dont buy any books because i intend to finish my books that i bought during the Big Bad Wolf, and not to mention my other books which i bought last years. So, i am planning to finish my reading and insyaallah will write another article to Heliphon.org. I need to brush up my writing skills and the rest maybe i will start my baking class at home. Trying new recipes and just stay at home. Maybe there will be few short vacations so i just can't wait to finish my CTA and go home!! ^^

3RD UNESCO LOOKING BEYOND DISASTER,PADANG,INDONESIA

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all readers,
2013 is a year where i went to various countries. I am not coming from a wealth family. My family is just a middle class family where if u want to get something extra you need to work hard for it. After 4TH USLS Interantional Conference in Manila, Alhamdulillah i got the opportunity to go to Padang,Indonesia for the 3rd UNESCO Looking Beyond Disaster Forum. It may sounds interesting but the fact that a few days before my journey suddenly we got sad news in which our flight ticket to Padang will not be sponsored by Uitm. At that time we already bought our ticket so automatically i have to use my own money. But after that, i had once again been tested when the ticket had been booked on wrong date and we need to incur extra costs. At that time to be honest i dont have any money because my Jpa still pending on payment. Alhamdulillah i know that Allah is the Greatest , HE sent me my friend who is willing to pay it for me and even i said that i can only pay him later but he is very kind in which he is willing to help me. At that time i felt very touched and grateful. I believe that if Allah want me to go to Padang he will help me, but if Allah doesnt want me to be there Allah will give His signs. Alhamdulillah i went all alone from Kuala Lumpur to Padang and on my journey to Padang i met another beautiful and kind Indonesian women who was a PHD student in Malaysia. We shared lots of things and i also learnt a lot about their cultures. Even i am all alone but i know that deep down inside my heart Allah is always with me. He will be there to take care of me. I always believe in myself and to Allah even though i am alone and anything might happen to me.

Once i arrived at Minangkabau International Airport, i met lots of kind people especially the committee from Andalas University my friends ZAKI AND HAMZAH. After my arrival we went to the hotel and once again i've been tested when the committee said that my name was not registered as the participants of the program. Yeah it was a very shocking news for me and another 14 other participants from Indonesia. That night we were not allowed to join the opening ceremony and refused meals. Luckily my BIG THANKS to Andalas University in which they were very responsible to us in which they brought us to have dinner in one of the Minang Restaurant and that night i was asked to share room with participant from Indonesia, DEWI. But the next day i still cant join the event because the UNESCO organiser said that we were not sending our flight ticket but in fact i did sent and even we did proved it to the organiser they still refused our participation. Due to that event, me and another 14 participants from Indonesia decided to walk around Padang and we booked two cars and went to Padang Beach which i forgot the name. We called ourselves as "ADDITIONAL PARTICIPANTS" . I had a very good bonding time with them. My special thanks to KRESNA, RIZQY,RIZKI,RICA,RICHARD,GERRY,NUEL,AHMAD,RIIANTI,MELVA,ADE, FIRMAN,DHIMAS,IKBAR, and few others. I really feel that i belong with them. I love them just like i love my family.

Only on the third day i managed to join the event alhamdulillah everything went well . Nothing much to share as it just a normal routine when i joined the international conference. It just that this conference taught me a very good lesson. Besides knowing about disaster management in other countries i also learnt more about friendship and it made me be more grateful for what i am now. I know that even in the hardest situation Allah will always besides me :)
