islamic novels

assalamualaikum

i really love reading and i read all types of books including islamic novels...it really good to know about the history of our islamic warrior and even for sometimes i admit that every time i read those islamic history you will feel this weird spirit...spirit of islam ... i agree that we may not have the courage to face the war with others but maybe our writing is a way of jihad... in islam, we fight not for the glory but we fight for Allah, we seek syahid.. that's what i learnt through my readings... and as long as i can remember, my first islamic novel that i had read was SALAHUDIN AL-AYUBI...written by abdul latip talib..and then i started readings sultan muhammad al-fateh,rabiatul adawiyah and many more... it really-really interesting..and the latest, i had read ABU UBAIDAH AL-JARRAH... maybe i would like to quote something interesting..

"Rasulullah saw pernah bersabda;

“Sesungguhnya dalam setiap kaum terdapat orang yang jujur. Orang yang jujur di kalangan umatku adalah Abu Ubaidah al Jarrah.”

it was written in the history that abu ubaidah al-jarrah killed his father who'r opposing islam...

“Engkau tidak menemukan kaum yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari kiamat yang mengasihi orang-orang yang menentang Allah dan Rasulullah, walaupun orang tersebut ayah kandung, anak, saudara atau keluarganya sendiri. Allah telah mematri keimanan di dalam hati mereka dan mereka dibekali pula dengan semangat. Allah akan memasukkan mereka ke dalam syurga yang di dalamnya mengalir sungai-sungai, mereka akan kekal di dalamnya. Akan menyenangi mereka, di pihak lain mereka pun senang dengan Allah. Mereka itulah perajurit Allah, ketahuilah bahwa perajurit Allah pasti akan berjaya.” (Al Mujadalah ayat 22)

therefore, i would like to suggest all of you to read this novel or any other islamic novels because you will gain something special from your reading....further information you can go to this blog abdul latib talib
